Even though Daria isn't on the cover of Carine Roitfeld's last issue, at least she is inside! I would think we would have more luck with her being on more Emmanuelle Alt covers anyway. Pop Egerie has finally made it to print...we all got to see this editorial in its early stages, and boy did it turn out great! I really didn't know what to expect after seeing those paparazzi shots. Of course I knew it would turn out just fine, I mean its Daria for gosh sake! And just knowing it was going to be for Vogue Paris definitely curbed the mind. With the paparazzi shots though, we did know it was on the beach of St. Barts, but seeing the water in the background I think, makes it all the better.
The styling is a tad crazy, but Emmanuelle knows how to do it just right. I love how the same shoes, although different colors, are the same in each shot. Daria has been playing with different facial expressions lately and continues to do it in this editorial. I love that. Her eyes really stand out against the blue sky. As a matter of fact, they match the color of the blue shoes. One more thing I love, Daria once again doing a 'jumping' shoot. We haven't seen her do this much anymore and we know she is good at it. I definitely can not wait to see what Emmanuelle and Daria come up with in upcoming issues! What do you think?
